ADRIA (Rovigo) – “With the administration led by the Barbujani and Simoni couple, Adria also loses the hundreds of thousands of euros foreseen by the Commerce District tender.
This is only the latest in a series of debacles, but if the mayor and deputy mayor manage to make a fool of themselves even by “playing at home” in the field, which theoretically (only theoretically) should be more congenial to them, of trade and financingit means that not everything is going as well as one wants to present” states the coordinator of Commitment for the Common Good Simone Donà.
“What is even more serious is that Barbujani and Simoni continually try to mask their difficulties by placing the blame for their failure on others, while obviously they would be, as always, quick to award themselves undeserved medals, obscuring the work of others.
Simoni, in this case, declared that he had entrusted himself to a trade association, whereas before he seemed to be the one to guarantee everything to everyone. Be careful, therefore, dear trade and non-professional associations, when trusting the promises of those who, when faced with a problem, could turn into Pontius Pilate and then turn their backs on you.
But wasn’t it Simoni himself who announced the certain arrival of the district funds months ago? And wasn’t it always him who criticized those who, in the past, had achieved the goal of getting that money to Adria?
All propaganda. The trade councilor Wilma Moda, deputy mayor of Barbierato, however, had worked intensely with the municipal offices to carry out the project which, having then supervised it by the trade association, entered the ranking among the first, to the benefit of the Adria traders. These are facts, not words: Simoni’s project, on the other hand, didn’t even make it into the ranking, so it has no hope of even being picked up again. Using sporting language we could say that, on the field of the Commerce District, the Barbierato/Moda couple outclasses the Barbujani/Simoni couple 250 thousand to zero.
Unfortunately, however, the too many matches that Barbujani and Simoni are losing are being dumped on the social and economic fabric of Adria.
In a year of bankruptcy administration, the money from important tenders from the CaRiPaRo Foundation has been lost, the theater season has not been organised, and the Adria summer is being put at risk.
Unfortunately the list could continue and, in this desolate panorama, to the mayor who waves the flag with the motto “maifermi” we say: stop, for goodness’ sake, don’t do any more damage!” concludes for the management of Ibc Donà.
