Last night, at the Barbantine clinic, the Viareggio painter Giorgio Di Giorgio, known in the art world for his unique style and his significant contribution to figurative painting, passed away at the age of 82.
Giorgio dedicated his life to art, his passion for the palette led him to explore complex themes and represent reality with a particular sensitivity.
His works, characterized by meticulous attention to detail, have been exhibited in numerous galleries not only in our province. The artistic community and all those who had the privilege of knowing him and appreciating his work mourn his passing. With his passing, Viareggio loses not only a true artist, but also a man who was able to tell the emotions, feelings and stories of everyday life through his paintings. His artistic legacy will continue to live on in his works, which will remain a point of reference for future generations. Not only will he be missed by his wife Giovanna and children Francesca and Francesco, but also by his large family of those who live their daily lives uphill.
