Filippo Colella signs the season’s hat trick. New victory for the Brianza team from Veduggio with Colzano among the students. The athlete from the Unione Sportiva Biassono secured first position in Casazza, in the Bergamo area, where the 28th edition of the Neon Luce Municipal Trophy-Gold Medal Trophy took place over a distance of 74 kilometres. Colella won in the sprint, clearly beating Cristian Mazzoleni of Pedale Brembillese, and Mattia Mazzoleni of Scuola Ciclismo Cene. Immediately behind was Achille Bellato (fourth), while Davide Gileno’s ninth place completed the day of celebration for the colors of the Brianza association. Returning to Colella, he recently participated in the category Peace Race in the Czech Republic where he performed well in front of a “parterre” of high-level opponents. Then, he had the opportunity to race the Trofeo delle Regioni on the track (2nd in the team pursuit) before returning as a road competitor with the triumph mentioned here.
