The “Stella Maris” Comprehensive Institute of Anzio organizes three days of sporting activities at Eastbay – Yachting Club of Anzio with a sailing, SUP and beach volleyball school. On 3, 4 and 6 June, the students of the Institute’s first level high school will live an immersive experience: accompanied by the instructors of the Eastbay Club, through a series of recreational and sporting activities, they will learn some summer sports that can be practiced on the beach and in the waters of the bay of Anzio.
The project, promoted by the teachers of Stella Maris, was created in collaboration with the Eastbay Sporting Village with the aim of stimulating a different way of approaching the sea in students. Taking advantage of the beautiful season now upon us, the School wanted to invite its students to get involved in sport once again, providing new knowledge and skills that can also be exploited during the summer holidays.
The students, day by day, will have the opportunity to learn the fundamental notions of sports and to deepen them by putting them into practice, immersed in an atmosphere of team spirit and healthy fun.
The Headmaster, Prof. Anna Maria Asero, immediately embraced the project, which combines well with the Institute’s educational offering, which includes an interdisciplinary and experiential educational path, aiming at the human and personal growth of the students through constant, indispensable encouragement. for kids who are experiencing a time of rapid growth and change, thus having the opportunity to experiment with previously unknown interests.
