Seizure of assets worth almost half a million euros from an entrepreneur from Seminara in the province of Reggio Calabria for tax evasion. The investigations of the financial police focused on the exceeding of the thresholds of punishment for evaded taxes.
The financiers of the provincial command of Reggio Calabria, on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Palmi directed by Emanuele Crescenti, have carried out a provision of preventive seizure of movable and immovable property for a value of 465,925.64 euros towards an entrepreneur of Seminarin Reggio Calabria.
The investigations, conducted by the Palmi company as part of a tax audit concluded in April this year, have made it possible to reconstruct the amount of taxes evaded by the entrepreneur from 2020 to 2022. In particular, the owner of the sole proprietorship did not submit the required declarations for VAT and IIDD purposes, exceeding the thresholds of punishment for evaded taxes.

In light of the evidence that emerged, the Judge for preliminary investigations at the Palmi court, sharing the proposal put forward by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, ordered the preventive seizure of the evaded sums, as well as movable and immovable assets attributable to the entrepreneur.
