I am writing to you again on behalf of the voluntary associations, regarding the non-renewal of the agreements for 118 support and for the transport of dialysis patients. This morning we came to demonstrate at the Citadel in Catanzaro, as no institution wants to listen to us. Once here we are obviously prevented from entering, we are also denied from demonstrating peacefully, our ambulances have been parked in the car park so as not to disturb us.

If it is a nuisance for our politicians to listen to the appeals of people risking their lives, I think we are following the wrong path… they will never listen to us. In any case, on June 16th all volunteer ambulances that provide 118 support and dialysis transport will be blocked. Unfortunately, it is a disaster that has been announced and to which everyone has remained indifferent. This morning we are here for the umpteenth time to be told that the president will not meet us because he is busy…. Let’s just hope that he doesn’t have to find 10 minutes to receive the families of the poor unfortunates who will lose their lives… What we are describing to you will be brought to the attention of the Prefecture and the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
