“It’s been sixteen months, it feels like seventeen years to me.” Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said this, guest on Agorà, on Rai3, saying that she “perceives” a “morbidity” around her private life and “it’s another thing that doesn’t help”.
“Anyone needs to have their own private dimension, of normality which is completely taken away from me – he explained -.
I don’t know why there is this morbidity. Since the day I won the elections, September 25, 2022, every Saturday and Sunday I find crowds of photographers outside my house who follow me wherever I go. It’s not easy when you live in the Big Brother house.”
“I chose to be involved in politics, if I had wanted to participate in Big Brother I would have participated in Big Brother. I don’t know why, but any dimension of normality is being taken away from me. I on the other hand – underlined the leader of FdI – am a person who does not he wants to give up his normality. I have always looked with distrust at politicians who, once they acquired the role, became different from what they were before. I am fighting with all my will to remain exactly the person I was before and in the end I will succeed, despite this attention disease that I see every day.”
