The Financiers of the Provincial Command of Reggio Calabria are executing a seizure order of movable and immovable assets for an amount equal to €465,925.64, against the owner of an individual company in Seminara (RC)
The Financiers of the Provincial Command of Reggio Calabria, with the coordination of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Palmi, directed by Dr. Emanuele Crescenti, are implementing a provision issued by the GIP of the local Court, which orders the application of the precautionary measure of the seizure of movable and immovable assets for an amount equal to €465,925.64, against the owner of an individual company in Seminara (RC).
In particular, with the provision in question, the aforementioned Judicial Authority ordered – without prejudice to subsequent assessments regarding the effective and definitive assessment of responsibilities in the further phases of the proceedings – the seizure of the suspect’s financial resources, as well as movable assets and properties attributable to the same.
The Fiamme Gialle of the Palmi Company, through a tax audit concluded in April of this year, reconstructed the amount of taxes relating to the years from 2020 to 2022, for which the legal representative of the controlled company did not submit the required declarations for VAT and II.DD. purposes, consequently being reported to the Judicial Authority for exceeding the thresholds for punishability of evaded taxes.
At the end of the investigations, therefore, the Judge for Preliminary Investigations at the Court of Palmi, agreeing with the proposal made by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at that location, ordered the seizure of the evaded sums.
The service activity demonstrates the constant commitment of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Palmi and the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Reggio Calabria to safeguard the laws and the protection of the legal economy, economic-financial security and correct entrepreneurs.
