Excellent training for agri-food: the next ITS EAT Academy Open Day in Siena

ITS EAT (Tuscan Agri-Food Excellence) offers a unique opportunity for those who wish to train in the agri-food sector, this time in Siena. The Open Days, dedicated to discovering the specialist training courses of the ITS EAT Academy, provide a complete overview of the opportunities available for future students. These two-year courses, which issue a fifth level EQF diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education and Merit, guarantee high-quality training and a close connection with the job market.

The next Open Day will be held on Tuesday 5 June at 5.30pm at the Ricasoli Agricultural Institute in Siena. This event, open to the public and with no registration requirement, although recommended, is a unique opportunity to get to know ITS EAT’s training offer up close. During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to interact with staff, hear testimonials from former students and see real-world examples of post-graduation professional and personal success.

“We are thrilled to open the doors of our Academy to aspiring professionals in the agri-food sector,” says Paola Parmeggiani, Director of the ITS EAT Foundation. “Our mission is to offer training that combines theory and practice, ensuring our students have the skills necessary to excel in an ever-changing job market. Collaboration with leading companies in the sector allows us to provide our students with an educational experience of the highest level.”

For the two-year period 2024-2026, ITS EAT Academy offers a complete range of courses designed to meet the needs of the labor market and businesses. Each course is designed in collaboration with leading companies in the agri-food sector, which actively participate in the definition of educational programs and offer internship and field training opportunities, thus ensuring a direct link between theory and practice.

“The training we offer is not limited to classroom lessons,” continues Parmeggiani. “We collaborate closely with local businesses, creating internship opportunities and practical projects that allow students to apply the knowledge they have acquired in the field. This approach ensures that over 87% of our graduates find employment within a year of completing their course.”

ITS EAT Academy not only promotes innovation and sustainability in the agri-food sector, but also supports its students with scholarships and international mobility programs such as Erasmus+, offering unique educational experiences abroad.
