“Now I am sole administrator of the club. So I will follow many more things first hand and I will be increasingly involved in Arezzo”. History
Guglielmo Manzo, 59 years old on 2 June, entrepreneur in the energy and gas marketing sector, has become owner of Arezzo in the summer of 2020, taking over the majority package from Giorgio La Cava. Upon the installation of the management which referred to Mag group (August 2020), the board of directors was led by the president Pine Monk, with Sabatino Selvaggio as CEO. The first change occurred in December of the same year, when the role of president passed to Fabio Gentilewith Francesco Manzo vice. William Manzo assumed the position of general manager.
One year later, in December 2021, another reshuffle of great importance. Guglielmo Manzo assumed the role of president, with his brother Francesco vice and the new entries as councilors of Remo Cordisco And Cristiano Tromboni, recently head of the technical area of the first team after promotion from the youth team. This structure lasted a few months, until March 2022. In September the capital held by Mag Servizi Energia srli.e. 99% of the company shares, was transferred to New Energy Gas and Electricitya joint-stock company owned by Guglielmo Manzo (90%) and Sabatino Selvaggio (10%).
In November of the same year another change to the composition of the board of directors: Tromboni’s resignation was counterbalanced by the entry of the general manager Paolo Giovannini. The four-member board of directors remained in office until May, when the shareholders’ meeting took note of Giovannini’s contract termination and Cordisco’s resignation, declaring the board lapsed. Guglielmo Manzo thus assumed the position of sole directorexactly as happened to Giorgio La Cava in March 2019, when the minority shareholders Massimo Anselmi And Amaranth Prideat the end of a period of disagreements on the management of the club, they took a step back from the board of directors.
