AND Roberta Ravenni the new head of the Neurology Operating Unit of the Mater Olbia Hospital. Ravenni is originally from Siena and former director of the Neurology and Neurorehabilitation operational unit of the Polyclinic Group of Abano Terme – Padua. “I accepted the position of director of the Stroke Unit and Neurology at Mater Olbia because I believe that it is a structure with cutting-edge technologies in every clinical field – said Ravenni – characterized by spaces wonderfully designed for hospitality and patient care, and because I met young, motivated, enthusiastic professionals ready to take on the challenge of bringing the MOH to the highest levels in the path of diagnosis and treatment of neurological pathologies – be they acute or chronic”.

With the arrival of Roberta Ravenni and the progress of the search for new neurologists, the MOH takes a further step towards the reopening of the Stroke Unit, which includes 6 dedicated beds and two single rooms for infectious disease problems, and represents a point of fundamental reference for the stroke network of the Sardinia Region.

“With respect to the reopening of the Stroke Unit, our prospects are positive. Thanks to Dr. Ravenni’s contribution, we hope to be able to soon return this life-saving service to citizens,” commented Marcello Giannico, CEO of the Mater Olbia Hospital.
