ANCONA – Last week was particularly intense for the State Police, which operated on various fronts regarding the management of immigration. The activities focused both on the reception of migrants and on combating the presence of irregular foreign citizens who are dangerous for public order and safety in the capital and in the province. Since the beginning of the year, the Doric Police Headquarters has carried out 11 repatriations, exceeding the 9 carried out in the same period of the previous year

During the week, two foreign citizens considered dangerous to public order and safety were accompanied to the Permanence Centers for Repatriation (CPR) in Potenza and Brindisi. The first, a 26-year-old Moroccan citizen, had numerous criminal records for violating the drug law. His expulsion also took place thanks to the collaboration of the Carabinieri of Jesi. The second case involved a 36-year-old Romanian citizen, with a history of resisting a public official, refusing to provide his personal details and being drunk. This individual was accompanied by the Ancona Railway Police.

Last Friday, an expulsion decree was carried out against a Bangladeshi citizen aged around 24, who had been residing illegally on Italian territory for some time. This repatriation was the culmination of a long and complex activity that began with the request for identification by the Bangladeshi consular authorities, culminating in obtaining the pass necessary to carry out the expulsion.
