BORGO PANIGALE – The Ducati change your mind: it will be Marc Marquez and not Jorge Martin to support Pecco Bagnaia in the official team starting from the 2025 season. Borgo Panigale has upset the initial plans, which envisaged bringing the current world championship leader ‘in the red’. Faced with the either/or of ‘Cabroncito‘, who had openly declared over the Mugello weekend that he did not consider a move to Pramac as an option, Ducati changed his mind, informing Martin that he no longer considered the agreement signed to be valid. The official move of the 8-time world champion to the Ducati Lenovo team is expected in the next few days.
Martin-Aprilia, it’s official!
On Monday evening, without warning, Aprilia announced via social media that it will be Jorge Martin its new driver from next season. The Spaniard going to take over Aleix Espargaro (towards Honda HRC as a tester) alongside another Spaniard i.e Maverick Viñales. The future of the remains to be understood now Enea Bastianini who would be monitoring the KTM situation: the Austrian team would in fact be planning a third team with official supplies (like Pramac for Ducati) and the Italian rider would be among the possible riders.
