According to what has been learned, a television crew from the program “Fuori dal coro”, which is broadcast on ReteQuattro, was threatened by some illegal occupants of houses in Florence, in the Le Piagge district, a north-western outskirts, where there are also numerous public housing. The police have identified some people, at the moment there are two. No one was injured in the circumstance. The Mediaset network program team had to prepare a report on houses illegally occupied to the detriment of the legitimate assignees or owners. According to what emerges, the attackers, in addition to threatening phrases, would have smashed the mirror of a car used by journalists and cameramen. The attack took place shortly after 1pm in Via Liguria. Reports have been received at 112 Nue. The police officers intervened on the spot.
Three reported: they were brandishing shears
Father, mother and son were reported for aggravated threat by the police in Florence because they would have intimidated a crew of Fuori dal Coro, a Retequattro program which was filming a report on houses occupied illegally to the detriment of the legitimate owners or assignees in the Piagge district, to the outskirts. According to a reconstruction, the journalist and the technical staff were threatened by the father and son brandishing gardening shears. Then the woman allegedly hit the journalist with a slap, who was not injured. The son would have kicked the crew’s car, ruining the side and mirror. The mother risks a complaint for beatings while the son risks criminal damage. So far, we learn, no party complaint has been filed.
Two phone calls alerted the single emergency number 112 in the early afternoon: the first came from the family, who reported the presence of unknown people in the building; the second distress call is from the television crew for assault. Based on what emerged, father, mother and son declared that they had lived in the council house for almost 20 years, paying the rent regularly. The crew was reporting on illegal occupations in public housing.
