The Sicily Padel Tour 2024 did based at the Padel Club Alcamo in Trapani for its seventh stage, offering a day of sport, competition and passion for padel. The tournament saw the participation of numerous athletes from all over the region, ready to compete on the pitches of one of the most renowned clubs in western Sicily. Not just competition, but also an opportunity for socialization and fun for all fans of this sport. The day at the Padel Club Alcamo recorded the presence of numerous spectators, families and children, who were able to experience the emotion of the competitions up close and participate in the activities organized for the occasion: food stands, music and moments of entertainment, in fact, they made the event an unforgettable experience for everyone present.
Sicily Padel Tour: the winners of the 7th stage
At the end of an intense and emotional day, they were the winners of this seventh stage of the Sicilia Padel Tour have been crowned. The couple formed by Gabriele Donato and Fabio Rao triumphed in the male categoryafter a 0-6, 6-4, 10-5, overturning the first set and imposing itself with a solid and spectacular game against the pair formed by Giovanni Marchese and Giuseppe Dia. “It was a nice experience – declared Fabio Roa – the organization of the tournament was impeccable, a good level of play, I’m happy for myself and above all for my partner Gabriele, to whom I dedicate this victory”. “A wonderful experience for me too – added Gabriele Donato – all the matches were hard fought, we had a lot of fun and thanks to my partner Fabio. In the female categorythe duo composed of Chiara Grillo and Rosalia Lentini won the title, after a crushing 6-0, 6-1, against the couple Gloria Boni and Francesca D’Angelo, demonstrating perfect harmony and extraordinary technical skills. “I am very happy to have participated – said Rosalia Lentini – because there was the opportunity to compete with other girls we had never met. Everything was very nice, the matches were very fair and we had a lot of fun. A special thank you goes to our coach Fabrizio Micati, for all the training and advice, but above all for his commitment towards the entire women’s team of the Padel Club Alcamo of which he is the absolute promoter”. “I fully agree with Rosalia’s words – reiterates Chiara Grillo –, I’m happy to have won in the club where we train and where we grew up. The four winners of the stage will receive a Macron voucher of 150 euros each and the direct qualification to the Master Final on July 13th at Mangia’s Torre del Barone Resort.
