After the first one became deserted, the Municipality of Sarzana once again published the notice for the free beaches of Marinella. The temporary use of public areas has been confirmed, with freedom to propose the related economic initiative. Fee reduced compared to the previous one: the basic amount will in fact be 3,750 euros for each month of actual use. The minimum obligations: daily cleaning of the coast, a lifeguard station, ordinary maintenance of the area and at least one toilet. The deadline for submitting offers will be 12.00 on June 10th.
“We are proceeding with a second attempt – explains State Property Councilor Luca Ponzanelli – and we continue to guarantee two lifeguard stations and the cleaning of the coast, with a significant commitment. The organisation’s effort is not lacking and the change in approach seems evident to me, unlike what some say. Meanwhile, I would like to reclaim this, in a path that will see many changes in the coming years and which requires us to face difficulties, inertia and speculation of various kinds, which do not depend on us. In the next few days – he concludes – we will clarify various aspects relating to our coastline, because I have read many inaccuracies”.
