Bari, thousands of Bari fans in demonstration against the timeshare

Thousands of fans from the Curva Nord of San Nicola gathered in the city center to contest the management of the Bari football club, currently under the presidency of the De Laurentiis family, which also owns Napoli. The procession, organized to express dissent towards timeshare, saw fans marching with banners, chants and smoke bombs.

The Reasons for the Protest The ultras demonstrated openly against the management of the club by Filmauro, the De Laurentiis family company. The fans’ discontent stems from the perception that timeshare is penalizing Bari, relegating it to a secondary role compared to Napoli. The demonstrators marched behind banners with slogans such as “Bari against timeshare” and “Beware of this”, chanting slogans to ask for a change of ownership.

Appeal to the business world In addition to the protest, the ultras made an appeal to the local business community, urging new investors to come forward to take over the club and put an end to the timeshare season. The fans’ request is clear: an independent Bari with a management dedicated exclusively to the success of the red and white team.

The Bari Season The protest comes at the end of a fluctuating season for Bari. Despite a promising start with promotion ambitions, the club has experienced a championship of ups and downs, saving itself from the play outs thanks to a surprising 0-3 victory against Ternana. However, the club’s commitment to building a competitive team was perceived as unsatisfactory by fans.

Future Challenges for Management In the coming days, the club’s management will face crucial decisions for next season. Among the priorities is the choice of the new sporting director, after the criticism received by the current DS, Ciro Polito, for the unsatisfactory performance of the squad. Furthermore, it will be necessary to select a new coach to lead the team and plan the signing campaign.

The procession of Bari ultras highlighted a deep discontent with the management of the club and a strong demand for change. The hope of the fans is that the message reaches the club’s leaders clearly and can lead to a new era for Bari football, free from timeshare and dedicated exclusively to the success of the red and white team.
