Interviewed by Federico Bettuzzi on the “Tribuna di Treviso” and on “Tuttosport”, Momo Faye was interviewed at the Adidas Eurocamp in Treviso, organized by the NBA and a showcase for young talents: “I’m here to learn from the best, here we need to demonstrate who you are as a person. Being able to train under NBA coaches who explain to me how to move, what to do, where to improve, is an opportunity to be exploited.”
This season, Faye was named Best Under 22 of the Year – IBSA: “I had an incredible season, collectively but also individually. Having felt the trust of Reggio Emilia and his staff was very important for a boy who had just turned 18. I had the right motivation to give everything. And the team did everything possible to put me in a position to perform at my best, I can’t help but thank the club, the coach and my teammates. I only have one regret, the Coppa Italia semi-final lost against Napoli: it was just a little bit away from achieving a great result.”
What does your future foresee instead? “The goal is to become a great player, in Europe or in the USA: to achieve this you need to compete with the best, always. So the Cup against Reggiana will be useful for me, I will be able to mature further.”
