Eat Academy open days in Arezzo

Its Eat (Tuscan Agri-Food Excellence) offers a unique opportunity for those who wish to train in the agri-food sector, and presents their training courses in the province of Arezzo. The Open Days, dedicated to discovering the specialized training courses of the Its Eat Academy, provide a complete overview of the opportunities that await future students. These two-year courses, which issue a fifth level EQF diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education and Merit, guarantee high-quality training and a close connection with the job market.

The next Open Day will be held on Tuesday 6 June at 11:00 at the Fanfani Camaiti Institute in Pieve Santo Stefano. This event, open to the public and without pre-registration required, although recommended, is a unique opportunity to get to know the training offer of the Its Eat Foundation first-hand. During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to interact with the staff and discuss with partner companies, including the important leading company in the natural health sector, Aboca.

We are thrilled to open the doors of our Academy to aspiring agri-food professionals,” he claims Paola ParmeggianiDirector of the Its Eat Foundation. “Our mission is to offer training that combines theory and practice, ensuring our students have the skills necessary to excel in an ever-changing job market. Collaboration with leading companies such as Aboca allows us to provide our students with a very high level educational experience.”

The Agritech & Bio-Innovation course, which will begin in October 2024 in Arezzo, is designed to train superior technicians capable of developing and implementing innovative solutions in the agri-food and biotechnology sector. This training course prepares future professionals to enhance agri-food products through advanced and sustainable techniques. Graduates will be ready to take on roles such as research and development technicians, agronomic consultants and bio-innovation specialists.

“The training we offer is not limited to classroom lessons,” continues Parmeggiani. “We collaborate closely with local businesses, creating internship opportunities and practical projects that allow students to apply the knowledge they have acquired in the field. This approach ensures that over 87% of our graduates find employment within a year of completing their course.”

Its Eat Academy not only promotes innovation and sustainability in the agri-food sector, but also supports its students with scholarships and international mobility programs such as Erasmus+, offering unique educational experiences abroad.
