Grosseto: Extraordinary event at Industrial Theatre to celebrate 10 years of concert activity by the DUO DEGAS will take place on Friday 7 June at 7.15pm. Made up of pianists Diego Benocci and Gala Chistiakova, the duo will perform a beautiful program with masterpieces by Brahms, Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Liszt. The evening is organized by the Recondite Armonie Cultural Association with the patronage and contribution of the Municipality of Grosseto.
The duo has a vast repertoire and in ten years of activity they have collaborated with symphony and chamber orchestras and have held over 100 concerts in Italy, Russia, France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Serbia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom for Festivals and international musical seasons, enjoying great success with the public and critics.
In 2021 their first CD was released with the transcriptions of Tchaikovsky’s famous ballets which was recently followed by a second entirely dedicated to Brahms with the 21 Hungarian Dances and the Walzers op.39. Their recordings have been enthusiastically reviewed by critics and broadcast on several occasions on national and foreign broadcasters.

The concert of the two pianists, artistic directors of the Recondite Armonie Cultural Association, will inaugurate an intense week which first with the fifth edition of the Recondite Armonie International Piano Competition and then with the cultural exchange project “Young Musicians of the World” will bring many young people to Grosseto talented musicians from all over the world who will be able to be heard in a busy calendar of concerts in Grosseto and its province (www.reconditearmonie.it).
