The national secretary of the Democratic Party Elly Schlein will be in Manfredonia on Tuesday 4 June. Starting from 3.30 pm, in Piazzetta del Mercato, the public demonstration ‘Together for Manfredonia’ will take place in which the centre-left mayoral candidate Domenico La Marca will participate.
The secretary will start her tour of Puglia from Manfredonia in support of the Democratic Party and the candidates for the European elections and the mayoral candidates of the main municipalities voting.
“It is an honor and a pleasure to welcome Elly Schlein to Manfredonia and share with her the commitment that the Manfredonia club is making to obtain an excellent electoral result in our city and on a national level” comments the city secretary of the Democratic Party Matteo Panza.
“The electoral campaign for the local and European elections is a fundamental stage in the political process of strengthening the Democratic Party. Obtaining a good result today in Manfredonia and in the other cities of Foggia and Puglia in the vote, as in all of Italy, would represent a resounding rejection of a right that wants to split the country with differentiated autonomy and privatize public water to the detriment of all Apulian citizens. The presence of Elly Schlein will be a further incentive to achieve the result we all hope for” adds the provincial secretary of the Democratic Party Pierpaolo d’Arienzo.
