Saturday 15 June 2024 at 6.30pm in the courtyard of the historic “Cascina Conti”, in Via San Martino 19 in Rho there will be the final evening of the second review “AT THE ROOT OF WORDS – THE DIALET POETS OF MILAN”.
Evening presented by the “Associazione Gruppo Culturale Amici di Mazzo” (AGCAM) and “Rhaudum Genius Loci”, with the collaboration of Luisa Cozzi and Christian Colombo and with the patronage of the Municipality of Rho.
Guest of the evening Daniele Gaggianesi, contemporary actor and poet. Born and raised in Corsico (MI), in parallel with his theatrical activity he carries out a path of poetic research, which began with the reinvention of the Milanese dialect. Gaggianesi sings and recites his poems/songs, accompanied by a guitar. He writes, as he likes to point out, in the Milanese dialect of the “twenty-first century” and tells everyday stories that develop before his eyes, or that come directly from the daily news. After receiving the «Tirinnanzi» prize for his collection “Quand finitessen i semafor” (Arcipelago Itaca edizioni), he won the Giovanni Testori prize in 2018 with an atypical mystery in verse. The poet has already been an applauded guest on the final evening of the first edition of the event last year. As always, the evening will be presented by journalist Luisa Cozzi (Director of “Poetando”, broadcast of the TV station “Rete 55”), with an introduction by Alberto Aguzzi of the Amici di Mazzo Cultural Group Association (AGCAM).
At the end of the meeting with the poetshort transfer to the adjacent and renowned “Trattoria Zanini”, to enjoy a typical “Lombard” dinner based on a starter of seasonal vegetables (cooked and raw), Milanese risotto with veal oss büs, fruit tart, water, wine and coffee. The participation fee for the meeting, including dinner, is €35; The cost “just” to attend the meeting with Gaggianesi is €10.
