The Association of Social Promotion “Pandora”the coordination of the family clinics of ASP Reggio Calabria, Medici del Mondo and the ACE Solidarity Medicine Center together to offer the territory free services and without the need for reservations or medical prescriptions.
After the great success of the two open days at the Gebbione Consultancy and the many requests received, thanks to the great availability of Dr. Of Fury, ASP General Director, and Dr. Alvarocoordinator of ASP clinics, here is another appointment, the ninth, of the project “We take care of you” promoted by the “Pandora” Social Promotion Association and in collaboration with the coordination of the family clinics of the ASP of Reggio Calabria.
A “OPEN DAY IN THE TERRITORY”which will be held next June 6 from 9.30 to 13.00 at the ACE Solidarity Medicine Center in Arghillà (RC) and the Medici del Mondo mobile clinic.
This open day will see, for this special occasion, the involvement of ACE – Solidarity Medicine Center and Doctors of the World, an international medical-humanitarian organization that fights to guarantee the right to health for all people, starting from the most vulnerable.
Leaving the clinic and going into the area is of great importance in order to raise awareness among the population of the importance of prevention in the health sector and orientation in the services provided by the ASP.
During the open day it will be possible to take advantage of the following free services And without the need for reservations and medical prescriptions:
- breastfeeding and parenting support;
- support on prevention and screening for women of childbearing age and menopause;
- Pap test for women between 25 and 29 years old;
- human papillomavirus screening for women aged 30 to 64;
- obstetric and gynecological ultrasound.
The mobile clinic of Doctors of the World will also be available for medical consultations with measurement of blood pressure and blood sugar levels for people at risk, anamnesis of lifestyle and clinical history, measurement of weight and height with calculation of the body mass index.
Like all other events, the volunteers will participate Suspended Layette and of Knitted Heart delegation from Reggio Calabria, to offer assistance and provide information on the association’s services.
