On the afternoon of 31 May 2024, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Cremona subjected a man to the precautionary measure of no approach and communication with the victim, issued by the Court of Cremona to protect one woman, who works like bartender, who for four years suffered the continuous harassment and persecution by a customer.
He harasses the bartender for four years
The precautionary measure was issued following the facts reported to the Carabinieri a few days ago by a woman who was forced to suffer the man’s attentions for a long time. The man was I usually go to bars and, for four years now, he had begun to bother the woman with inappropriate and annoying behavior.
Indeed, he had often expressed unpleasant appreciations and systematically her conversations had sexually explicit content, causing her embarrassment. He had repeatedly sought physical contact with the woman, but had been rejected. And when he didn’t see her at the counter, because the woman took care of her cooking to avoid meeting him, he looked for her obsessively and asked the others where she was. She avoided him, but a few days ago, while the woman was working, with a sudden gesture, he had them touched the private parts.
Report everything to the police
At that point, the woman immediately filed a complaint with the police explaining that she was upset and worried about the constant harassment and the man’s constant presence in the club, saying she didn’t feel safe. The military then started investigations, finding confirmation of what the victim reported and reporting everything to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Cremona who coordinated the investigations.
The provision
Taking into account the frequency and repetitiveness of the actions and the man’s inability to contain himself, causing a state of subjection in the victim, the Judge, to restore the victim’s normal living conditions, he ordered the man not to approach the woman and all the places she frequented, prohibiting communication with the offended person by any means. The provision was notified by the Carabinieri.
