The reorganization carried out by Bishop Napolioni. With the changes in Bozzolo the first celebration of the morning is at risk

Changes ahead for priests in the diocese of Cremona, which includes several parishes in the Mantua area. The bishop of Cremona Antonio Napolioni has set new roles for several priests. Don Marco D’Agostino (born in 1970, originally from Soresina, current rector of the episcopal seminary and coordinator of the “Family of families” pastoral area) was appointed parish priest of the Viadana-Buzzoletto pastoral unit. He will take over Don Antonio Censorsappointed canon of the cathedral and chaplain of the Cremona Solidale retirement home.

Don Massimo Sanni (born in Bozzolo in 1974, ordained a priest in 2000) will be the new parish priest of Cividale-Rivarolo-Spineda. In his place, the chaplain from the Oglio-Po hospital will arrive in Calvatone-Tornata-Romprezzagno Don Alfredo Assandri.

Don Maurizio Germiniasicurrently a parish collaborator in Pomponesco-Salina-Casaletto-Bellaguarda, will become a collaborator in Casalmaggiore. Don Francesco Cortellini (born in 1982 in Torre de’ Picenardi, professor of theology and vice-rector of the seminary) will be the new parish priest of Bozzolo and San Martino dall’Argine. He will take over Don Luigi Pisani, who will become a collaborator in Gazzuolo-Belforte-Commessaggio and will reside in San Martino, available to the area. The Sabbionetan Don Enrico Maggi he will become a cooperator at the Caravaggio sanctuary.

Possible inconveniences

However, Bozzolo will lose his vicar forever, because the current Don Nicola Premoli will not be replaced to become a collaborator of the “Don Primo Mazzolari” pastoral unit of Cremona, formed by the parishes of S. Ambrogio, Cambonino, Boschetto, Migliaro (resident at Boschetto).

The movements of the priests in Bozzolo could cause problems in Rivarolo Mantovano, where they guaranteed the 8.30am Sunday mass. As we can no longer do so, the town will therefore lose a mass, as the parish priest explained, Don Ernesto Marvò, in announcing his departure from Rivarolo to become parish priest of Sospiro in the Cremonese area and in seven other churches. The actual changes in the parishes will take place in early autumn.
