Where to park the car for the Grand Prix? How much does it cost to drive to the race and leave the vehicle parked near the Monza park?

There are two months to go until the long-awaited 95th Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix and for the many fans who have already purchased tickets, it is possible to reserve a parking space in the 10,000 parking spaces available in Monza and in the municipalities of Biassono, Lissone, Vedano al Lambro and Villasanta.

Where to park in Monza for the Grand Prix

In Monza, during the Grand Prix, four different parking lots will be available, with shuttle connections to allow for convenient access to the racetrack. It will be possible to use the blue parking lot, with a total of 1,470 spaces, at the U-Power Stadium in the industrial area of ​​Via Pompei and Via Ercolano, in the privately owned area for public use “ex –Confartigianato”, to which are added a possible other 1,000 parking spaces in the area of ​​the former fair and the nearby industrial area. This year, the blue parking lot will be activated only on Saturdays and Sundays and not on Fridays, as will the shuttle service that connects it to the racetrack.

The purple parking lot – which has approximately 1900 parking spaces – is made up of two areas: one in via Martiri delle Foibe, at the parking lot ordinarily managed by Monza Mobilità srl which includes both the surface and underground portions; and one consisting of the underground parking lot of the Rondò dei Pini shopping center. The gold parking lot is located inside the Monza Park, with a capacity of 1050 parking spaces and 40 spaces for motorcycles. Finally, the orange parking lot is made up of a portion of the parking lot of the San Gerardo Hospital ordinarily managed by Monza Mobilità Srl and an area made available by the Iper Maestoso Shopping Center of Monza, between via Sant’Andrea and via A. Lissoni, and has a total of approximately 550 parking spaces plus 40 spaces for motorcycles.

In addition to the parking lots set up in the city, additional spaces are available in the municipalities adjacent to the Royal Park. In particular, in Vedano, the Platino parking lot is available, a few steps from the Park, with a capacity of 300 parking spaces. For campers and buses, the green parking lot in Biassono and the brown parking lot between Biassono and Vedano are available, respectively on via Parco and via Madonna delle Nevi and between via Trento and Trieste, Locatelli, dei Gelsi and della Misericordia. In the brown parking lot, 100 spaces for buses are also available. In the Rosso parking lot in Villasanta – consisting of 4 areas located in via Cellini, the ex Carrier area on via R. Sanzio, the “Rovagnati” area in v.le Monza – only the 10 spaces reserved for buses in addition to 500 parking spaces are currently bookable.

How much does parking for the Grand Prix cost?

For a car park for the Grand Prix you can spend an amount ranging from 20 to 55 euros per day or 120 euros for a three-day pass. You spend up to 40 euros on Friday, 50 on Saturday and 55 on Sunday for a gold car park (or 120 euros for three days) or 25 euros for the single days of Saturday and Sunday and 40 euros for two days in the blue car park and 20 euros for the single days of Saturday and Sunday and 35 euros for two days in the purple car park. The purchase of a space in the blue car park or in the purple car park includes in the price the possibility for two people per car to use – without purchasing additional tickets – the shuttles of the two respective colours, which take you from the car parks to the inside of the park in viale Mirabello, a few steps from the racetrack.
