“In a few days a new maritime connection will call at Procida departing from Pozzuoli at 06.40 am directed to Casamicciola – explains Lucia Mameli, Councilor delegated for Transport of the Municipality of Procida – In these months of discussion with the trade associations, the political forces of the territory and the council commission had identified a difficulty for the production activities which were forced to embark with carriers that prevented them from arriving in the Procida area in good time thanks to the Medmar company which no longer made the first departure from Pozzuoli”.
“The municipal administration has highlighted and obtained from the Campania Region the availability of the Medmar shipping company in order to resolve the requested need – continues Mameli – In the meantime we are highlighting and supporting the request of commuters and citizens who ask to bring forward the first departure from Procida for Pozzuoli at 05:55”. “I thank Raimondo Scotto di Covella and Eng. Giuseppe Rosato for his constant collaboration and above all I thank the citizens who have patiently awaited this important result, also trusting in the success of the requests that are formulated in the future.
