Pesaro, 3 June 2024 – Celebration yesterday in Pesaro of the 78th anniversary of the Italian Republic, opened by the placing of a wreath in the city cemetery and continued with the official ceremony in Piazza del Popolo, where the prefect Emanuela Saveria Grecoin front of the joint picket, the banners of the Municipalities and of the combat and arms associations, with the Commander of the 28th Pavia Regiment next to them Antonio Di Leonardofirst witnessed the flag raising and the simultaneous unrolling of a tricolor banner by firefighters and then read the message from the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella.

The ceremony then followed in the Metaurense Hall of the Ducal Palace, with the awarding of 13 Merit of the Republic. The lawyer was awarded the honor of Officer Umberto Bianco of Pesaro and the cavalier Giulio Lonzi of Urbino, while Dr. was invested with the title of Knight Marco Andreani from Pesaro, the engineer Silvia Arseni of Petriano, lieutenant colonel Cleto Bucci of Pesaro, lieutenant Vito Conenna of Fano, doctor Anna Maria Mencoboni of Pesaro, Dr Alessandro Panichi by Mondolfo, the engineer Leonardo Rampino provincial fire brigade commander, i Alessandro Sartori of Pesaro, the major marshal doctor Alfredo Severini of Urbino, Dr Silvano Severini of Macerata Feltria, the eldest Guerino Roberto Spina of Pesaro. Closing is the concert by the Rossini Conservatory wind orchestra conducted by Maestro Vincenzo Piaggesi. But yesterday, for the 78 years of our Republic, the Biosphere in Piazza del Popolo was miraculously transformed into a sphere with tricolor segments and the Alusfera was transformed into a stage on which, in front of authorities, the prefect Emanuela Saveria stood Greco wearing the colors white and red and green in the ribbon pinned to the neck of the impeccable outfit.
The other novelty of the afternoon, basically a “Students’ Republic Day“, began in collaboration with the provincial school office, Pesaro 2024 and, comparing it to the discipline of diving, with a very high difficulty index due to the possible expansion of bureaucratic rhetoric: the students who “through readings, testimonies and performances tell some themes of ‘current affairs on the thread of the Constitution’. Not enough: the awarding of “the artistic, social, cultural and sporting commitment” of some young people: Giorgia Righi, Francesco Vitali and the Belfortissimi, winner of Carlino’s “Citizen of the Year”. And then also awards for the little ones; IV and V elementary school of the Borgo Pace complex of the comprehensive institute of Sant’Angelo in vago, Dario Gulizia of the AI of the “Pirandello” media of Pesaro, Chiara Piergiovanni of the III D of the “Volponi” of Urbino, Anna Maria Napolillo of the IV C of the “Marconi” high school of Pesaro. And then a series of other deserving guys who we will give an account of in the next few days.
