Economy and work, young people, Ferrara city for women in Anna Zonari’s interview program – Telestense

U Last pre-election Saturday yesterday for the Municipality of Ferrara, which brought to a conclusion the cycle of Saturday meetings on the points of its program. Yesterday in Grisù Anna Zonari with the representatives on the list for the City Council illustrated points 7,8 and 9, which concern respectively Ferrara, city of the economy and work. Ferrara, city that gives the future back to the young generations. Ferrara, city for women.

The electoral program of La Comune Ferrara is the result of a participatory process undertaken between September 2023 and April 2024 by a group of citizens who then formed a civic list, through incessant dialogue with civil society and citizens.

Yesterday Anna Zonari wanted to highlight the potential of Ferrara, starting from its century-old cultural tradition, its prestigious University and its many excellences, to be framed in an integrated medium and long-term strategic vision, aimed at pursuing the objectives of ‘UN Agenda 2030.

Ferrara, said Zonari, must become a city that focuses on the education and training of the young generations. The commitment of La Comune is a pact for and with young people, which supports their autonomy projects, strengthening study and work orientation networks, providing sustainable services such as coworking spaces, business incubators, agreements with services on the territory and a tailor-made house plan.

The Municipal Administration – in Anna Zonari’s version – must work together with the University, businesses, cultural and social institutions to create a “campus city” which is not limited only to providing qualifications, but offers work and cultural opportunities on the territory, favoring its internationalization.

Finally, the Municipality traced the identikit of a city fit for women, clarifying that this expression means a city fit for everyone, which includes all gender identities, ages, life choices, geographical affiliation and religious confession.”

It’s time for change, says the first woman who dared to run for mayor of Ferrara in the third millennium, committing herself to approaching culture, politics, work and every area of life in a different way, a way based on care and relationships, attentive and respectful of the fairness of public policies and the dignity of people.
