Double presentation for the book “Women. Health. Territory”, published by Edra, created by the Women Protagonists in Healthcare community, founded and coordinated by Dr. Monica Calamai, general director of the Ferrara healthcare companies. First presentation on Wednesday, in Rome, at the world convention of Himss (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society), an American non-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare. The second presentation was on Thursday, in Naples, as part of the Great Hospitals Meeting which took place at the Cardarelli Polyclinic.
The book, already presented in Ferrara, as we see in the images, tells the story of the genesis and objectives of the Community Women Protagonists in Healthcare, whose annual convention will be held in Rome on 10 and 11 July. Monica Calamai, who announced on these occasions the birth of an international section of the Community, underlined the indispensability of an increasingly digital approach to healthcare and therefore to telemedicine, an area of work on which her activity in the management of Ferrara healthcare companies. Thanks to the tele-reporting of ECGs which began in 2021, of eye exams, of telemedicine in prison, and soon of tele-rehabilitation, Ferrara’s healthcare companies are in fact forerunners on the subject, both in the region and at a national level.
