ROVIGO – A great emotion culminated with the large tricolor in front of the Tempio de La Rotonda in Rovigowith the firefighters of the provincial command, and smoke bombs to close the ceremony with dignity.

On the occasion of 78th anniversary of the Foundation of the Republicon the morning of June 2nd the ceremony began at 10 am in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II with the laying of wreaths at the War Memorial in the Sala della Gran Guardia, with the Prefect Clement of Nuzzoand the extraordinary commissioner of the Municipality of Rovigo, Gianfranco Tomao. The entire ceremony was attended by Band of the City of Lendinara.

At 10.30 am Piazza XX Settembre an evocative ceremony, with the deployment of the Joint Military and Civil Corps as well as the Representatives of the Combatant and Armed Forces Associations and the Banners of the Local Authorities. At 6 pm Social Theater of Rovigo, the delivery of the OMRI honors conferred by the President of the Republic, ed the Concert for the Republic Day, organized with the contribution of the Cariparo Foundation. performed by the Symphonic Orchestra I Filarmonici Veneti directed by Maestro Massimo Santaniello, with the Coro Lirico del Veneto and with the participation of the tenor Celso Abelo, the Soprano Marily Santoro and the Mezzo-soprano Victoria Pittis.
