PISTOIA. Nuova Comauto Pistoia’s dream of conquering Serie A with women was shattered yesterday in Faenza. In the semi-final for access to the last act of a nine-month long tournament, a small goal against the Capitolines was enough to destroy the dream of the orange team who came out in tears but with their heads held high. A courageous exit that deserves to be celebrated as it is the epilogue of great undertakings. The team of Emiliano Biagini reached the so-called final four in Faenza after third place in the championship, victory in the group playoffs and passing the national stage by conquering the almost prohibitive parquet of Naples. The finals in the charming Emilian city famous for ceramics, which seemed like an impossible goal became reality thanks to a fabulous season finale. The draw decided that the road to the Olympus of our futsal should pass through the match against Roma C5, the team that had literally dominated the championship, winning it by a very large margin: 22 points over the second (Perugia) and even 26 over the third (Pistoia). ).
