The shareholders’ meeting of Lupiae Servizi spa on 30 May 2024 has approved the financial statements for the year 2023which ends with net profit of 492,568 eurosgenerally in line with what is foreseen in the 2019-2023 business plan.
As is known, in November 2018 the company’s board of directors decided to resort to the composition with creditors procedure as a going concern to overcome the crisis the company was experiencing. The request for composition with creditors was accepted by the Court of Lecce, which in June 2019 admitted the company to the composition with creditors procedure. The company’s proposal, which provided for the payment of debts contracted by the company with employees, banking institutions, INPS and INAIL, was approved by the Court with a specific decree in February 2021.
To date, the company continues its business activities in favor of its client and sole shareholder, the Municipality of Leccein compliance with all the financial commitments envisaged by the approval decree, including that towards workers, honored ahead of schedule in August 2023. With the approval of the 2023 budget, the company achieved the objectives set in advance in terms of operating results.
The composition with creditors procedure will close on 28 February 2026.
