They were dismantled yesterday morning, June 1st tents that had been set up by the Municipality of Pozzuoli for citizens at the reception points in Piazza a Mare, via Napoli, Largo Palazzine, Toiano and Via Vecchia San Gennaro. At the moment the Municipality has registered around 250 families displaced by bradyseism in Pozzuoli; 178 people (74 families) refused temporary accommodation while 133 (50 families) were temporarily housed in hotel facilities identified by the Administration.

The removal was carried out by Civil Protection volunteers who arrived in the Neapolitan town in recent weeks to support the population in the face of the worsening of the phenomenon of Bradyseism. Currently only the hub set up in the Pala Troncone, the Monterusciello sports hall, where around twenty people are housed, remains active.

In the evening the post on Facebook by Titti Zazzarocouncilor for Productive Activities, Commerce and Economic Development: “Our request has been heard! This represents an important return to normality, hoping that there is no longer any need“.
