FERMO – The prestigious recognition of “Marchigians of the Year” was also awarded to two young entrepreneurs: Elisa and Paolo Scendoni, in recognition of their significant contribution to the industry and community of the Marche. The ceremony took place in recent days in Rome in the Chapter Room of the Senate of the Republic. The winners were the journalist Ugo Bellesi, the president of the Cri Rosaria Del Balzo Ruiti, the stylist Vittorio Camaiani, the university professor Emanuele Frontoni, the surgeon Giulio Maurizi, the university professor Michela Mercuri, the admiral Paolo Pagnottella, the prefect Darco Pellos.

Elisa and Paolo Scendoni, very young, are already involved in the family business, Salumificio Ciriaci. Here are the reasons that led to the assignment. The award was given to Paolo with the following motivation: «With his entrepreneurial flair he gave impetus to technological innovation in the company, also thanks to the values ​​handed down by his grandparents, namely ‘origins, tradition and quality’.
