Free Monday concerts at the Pomodoro Ball: the program

Pesaro, 1 June 2024 – From June 10th they return “Monday Concerts”: 14 free dates with the grown-ups Italian dance orchestraspromoted by the Municipality of Pesaro, Italian Capital of Culture, and by Apa Hotels, in Piazzale della Libertà until September 2nd, at 9pm.

“The Summer Capital of Pesaro 2024” will open at the Ball, Monday 10 June, the BallaOnda Orchestra; The Palazzi Orchestra will conclude the program of the “Monday Concerts”. Paolo Costantini, president of Apa Hotel and Fabio Bargnesi, Voice Italia artistic director of the “Monday Concerts” explains: “It’s back one of the most popular events in Pesaro’s summer offering, which for its season as Capital, we maintain at ‘series A’ levels by bringing the best and most famous orchestras in Italy to the stage of the Ball”. And not just ballroom dancing, “in Piazzale della Libertà we will listen to all musical genres, making even young people dance, who we are sure will return to fill the entire square in their thousands.” The “Monday Concerts” add Costantini and Bargnesi, “They are now a point of reference for residents and tourists, but also for the orchestras who almost compete to participate in the Pesaro event”.

Costantini recalls that, in addition to the events in Piazzale della Libertà, there are also those dedicated to families in Piazzale D’Annunzio. From the 12 June to 28 August every Wednesday, will welcome music, entertainment and workshops proposed together with Pesaro Village and Coccole Sonore; all the Fridays from 5 July to 23 August instead the Cinema for Children.

19 August Maurizio Medeo Orchestra

Young singer, on Italian stages for 10 years for his traditional and very danceable music. Ballroom dancing and melodic Italian songs, he already boasts a well-stocked discography where Granada stands out, the success of Claudio Villa which Maurizio always presents in his shows thanks to his splendid voice.

26 August Luca Bergamini Orchestra

Born in Santa Sofia (Forlì), leader of the orchestra founded by his father Franco in the 1980s which made the history of Romagna smooth music. More than 10 albums published, a great Italian orchestra known and esteemed throughout Italy.

02 September Palazzi Orchestra

The ‘Monday Concerts’ series ends with a bang. Pesaro and its accordions of the Palazzi family. Luciano Palazzi senior graduated from the G. Rossini conservatory with his accordions together with his children will bring music to dance and sing in the square of Pesaro with a great finale at the… Ball.
