Pioneer of Cardiac Safety with Simeup Crotone ~ CrotoneOk.it

A Commitment to Safety Wanted by Tommaso Graziani
The Casarossa lido, part of the prestigious Graziani group, has recently implemented a series of measures to guarantee the cardioprotected safety of both its structure and the company as a whole. This initiative was strongly supported by Tommaso Graziani, who recognized the importance of equipping the beach with life-saving devices such as defibrillators and training staff in their use, in line with the provisions of the law.

According to the Balduzzi Decree, issued on 20 July 2013, it is mandatory for bathing establishments and public beaches to be equipped with semi-automatic defibrillators and staff trained in the use of these devices. This legislation represents a decisive step to improve safety on our coasts, reducing the risk of sudden cardiac death in crowded places such as beaches.

The Casarossa lido is among the first in Crotone to comply with this law, demonstrating a concrete commitment to protecting the health of its guests. However, despite the importance of this measure, there are still few seaside activities that have undertaken the same path.

The presence of defibrillators and BLSD (Basic Life Support and Defibrillation) trained personnel is essential in seaside resorts. Cardiac arrests can affect anyone at any time, and speed of intervention is crucial to increasing the chances of survival. The BLSD allows you to immediately recognize a cardiac arrest, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers and use the defibrillator while waiting for advanced help to arrive.

The BLSD course for the staff of the Casarossa lido was carried out by Simeup Crotone, a scientific company known for the quality of its training in the healthcare sector. National instructors Daniele Ermanno, Roberto D’Agui, Ilenia Dell’Amico and Giuseppe Ermanno guided staff through a series of theoretical and practical sessions, ensuring that everyone was adequately prepared to manage cardiac emergencies. The course was directed by Dr. Anna Maria Sulla, whose experience and expertise further enriched the learning.

The commitment of the Graziani group and Tommaso Graziani in particular, in making the Casarossa beach cardioprotected, represents a virtuous example of how the rules can and must be applied for public safety. It is hoped that other beach facilities will follow this example, recognizing the importance of investing in the training and equipment necessary to save human lives. By adapting to the provisions of the Balduzzi Decree, the Casarossa lido not only respects the law, but puts the safety of its guests first, becoming a model to follow for all beach activities.
