Latina is preparing for the celebrations of June 2nd, the ordinances

Latina is preparing to celebrate the 78th anniversary of Republic Day with a series of events organized for June 2nd. The organizational machine is finalizing the final details, and the municipal administration has arranged changes to roads, circulation and parking in view of the celebrations.

The celebrations will be held on Sunday 2 June, with events starting in the morning and ending in the late afternoon.

To guarantee the safety and correct running of the events, the Municipality of Latina has issued two ordinances regulating traffic for all three days. The provisions include the ban on circulation and parking with forced removal for all vehicles, except those authorized, of the police forces and emergency vehicles, from midnight on May 31st until 7pm on June 2nd, or in any case until the end of the event, in the following streets and squares:

– Freedom Square
– Via delle Medaglie d’Oro
– Via Malta
– Via Costa (from Viale Umberto I to Piazza della Libertà)
– Piazza della Libertà (stretch between the square and Via E. di Savoia)
– Largo Caduti di Nassiriya
– Via Nizza

Furthermore, the traffic and parking ban with forced removal will be in force in the following places on May 31st from midnight to 3pm and on June 2nd from midnight to 3pm:

– Piazzale Silvio D’Amico (right side only entering from Via N. Sauro)
– Largo Giacomini

Finally, the traffic ban will be active from midnight to 3pm on June 2nd also in:

– Via Fratini
– Via Cellini

The municipal administration invites all citizens to respect the ordinances to ensure the success of the celebrations and the safety of all participants.
