Disseminate in local schools good practices for protecting the environment : is the objective of bookcrossing That arrives at the Navy thanks to an initiative by the children and teachers of the Satta-Spano-De Amicis comprehensive institute in Cagliari as part of the Green School program, promoted by the Local Development service of the Metropolitan City of Cagliari.

The pupils of the first class of the Manno secondary school in via Del Collegio delivered personally yesterday 10 boxes containing books , for both children and adults, to the 10 shops in the neighborhood that have joined the initiative. The texts will be freely and freely available to anyone who wishes to use them and will be implemented periodically by the school or by citizens who wish to contribute. The intent is to soon create real bookcases, to be placed inside or outside the activities, and in the future extend the sharing network to utensils, clothing and food.

Bookcrossing is part of a series of low-budget projects called “territorial construction sites”, aimed at bringing Green School activities outside of schools. In the same context, the students of the Spano secondary school in via Falzarego promoted an activity plogging or of rubbish collection , in the Sant’Avendrace district. 18 schools have joined the Green School programme, now in its second edition in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, for the 2023-2024 school year, 12 of which will receive the official green school certificate on Wednesday 5 June on the occasion of the Green Tree Festival School, which will take place in the morning in the Monte Claro Park.
