This is the alarm that comes from Integrated and Sustainable Mobility Coordination which, in view of the Regional elections, sent several candidates a document on the transport situation in our territory, with a complaint of shortcomings but also proposals. Among the main problems is the reduction in funding which has led to progressive weakening “culminating in the cuts, no longer restored, of the Covid period“.

Among the proposals of the Coordination for reverse the trend: “A substantial cure of the iron, with the restoration of the trips canceled during the Covid period and the reactivation of the suspended lines; single tickets and season tickets for the entire regional territory and with easy payment; the integration of public and private means of transport, rail and road; the strengthening of interregional and long-distance connections“.
“Another essential element is ensuring accessibility to stations and trains for all, a situation which unfortunately in many places is not guaranteed, resulting in the impossibility or difficulty in accessing services.“, concludes the President Fulvio Bellora.
