From June to October in Cagliari “Riverrun ETS” offers a series of free workshops and shows in Cagliari linked to “Non-tourism, urban regeneration project in a socio-cultural key”, How many different souls are contained in the same city? How do they coexist with each other? How unrepeatable is the bond that unites its inhabitants in Cagliari? And above all, how does their internal microcosm resonate with the macrocosm of the neighborhood in which they live?

These are the questions from which the new project is inspired Riverrun ETSCagliari’s cultural transformation hub under the artistic direction of Lorenzo Mori, which offers from June to October (with previews in the last months of April and May) a series of free workshops, performances and shows between the Saddi House of Pirri and the Molentargius Parkkey places that will host the laboratories “Non-tourism: Genius Loci Karalis” they shows And performance “Journey to the 7 planetary geniuses” with Lorenzo Mori, Vanessa Aroff Podda and Giorgia Lattuca.

The project is carried out with the contribution of the Culture and Entertainment Departments of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and the Municipality of Cagliari.

· Non-tourism: Genius Loci Karalis

What is the Genius Loci? For the Latins it was that very particular energy that united a specific place to those who lived there, that relationship that made the ecosystem of a city, made up of nature, culture, economy, living beings, rites, myths, beliefs, urban fabric unique and unrepeatable. and landscape. And what is the Genius Loci of Cagliari? Is there a difference between an inhabitant of Pirri and one of the Stampace district? These questions have their roots in the heart of the new Riverrun ETS project, aimed at the marginal places of Cagliari (two urban suburbs: Pirri and Poetto/Molentargius-Saline) which consists of a series of cultural workshops, shows and performances, open free of charge to socio-cultural operators, third sector bodies, schools, local associations, artists, creatives, students, researchers, inhabitants and tourists. All participants will experience playful, creative and training courses aimed at growing individual skills and strengthening the socio-cultural networks already present, encouraging and incentivising knowledge of the identity of the city’s suburbs, varied but no less precious pieces, of his composite Genius Loci.

Not simple experiential or narrative paths, but real participatory laboratory processes, immersive and interactive shows, in which users will be able to directly experience the historical memory of Cagliari, exploring its complexity and the intertwining of the archetypal energies that compose it.

The proposed activity is part of Non-tourisman urban regeneration project in a socio-cultural key, which for nine editions has aimed at strengthening the communities of inhabitants of the city’s peripheral neighborhoods, in terms of participation and cultural production, through laboratory courses that aim to provide innovative tools and models to develop self-awareness and ability to act in one’s own territory, identifying the right solutions to local needs.

· Journey to the 7 planetary genes

The study of the 7 planetary archetypes originates from Spagyria, an ancient medical art which finds part of its roots in the work of Paracelsus, a Swiss doctor, alchemist and astrologer of the 1500s, a great revolutionary of his time. His intuition was to study the basic energies that underlie the world and from which to start to understand and understand oneself. There are 7 archetypes identified by him (Mars, Venus, Saturn, Sun, Moon, Mercury and Jupiter), in which colors, frequencies, plants, behaviors, attitudes, ways of thinking, diseases and parts of the body can be inscribed. Every human being is equipped with its own “Inner Sky” made up of a different mix of these seven elements, thanks to which each one takes on unique characteristics. Often, when something goes wrong, it is some archetype that asks to be welcomed, listened to, valued. Accompanied by Giorgia Lattuca And Vanessa Aroff Poddathe participants in the show-performance “Journey to the 7 planetary geniuses”they will undertake a journey to discover the archetypes that live outside and inside the human being, thus exploring those that most influence one’s temperament, revealing its lights and shadows. A real journey, therefore, in which the body will guide the somatic unconscious, through systemic language to better understand the distinctive qualities and challenges that await every human being.

During the journey, it will be possible to acquire awareness of one’s unique and unrepeatable color, of the challenges and resources that derive from one’s constitution, temperament and firmament. We will give movement and voice to the 7 archetypes, to understand their connections and access our own very personal planetary system, exploring the potential areas of connection and conflict.
