In the final rush of the Aversa municipal election campaign, Noi Moderati is focusing on one of the most “sensitive” problems for citizens: the temporary closure of the Employment Centre. The provincial coordinator of the party Angelo Lettera, the deputy and regional leader Pino Bicchielli and the centre-right mayoral candidate Antonio Farinaro took part in the initiative, which was also successful and well attended. The candidates and a neighing crowd of voters were present. The ball was opened by Roberto Romano, in the running for a place on the bench, who with his usual verve reconstructed the stages that led to the closure of the Employment Centre. In his speech Lettera called into question the regional councilor Giovanni Zannini, the soul of the civic coalition led by Franco Matacena. “The temporary transfer of the Aversa employment center to San Nicola la Strada – remarked the number one of Noi Moderati Caserta to Italia Notizie – is due to the inability of the De Luca council. What did Zannini do to avoid its closure?”. Lettera once again placed the emphasis on the “obvious contradictions” of the Matacena team. “It is an electoral sign that will crumble immediately after the vote. Aversa needs governability which only the centre-right can guarantee because it is a homogeneous and coherent coalition, created for the rebirth of the city”. The Honorable Bicchielli also pointed the finger at De Luca: “Aversa is one of the most important cities in Campania, it is unacceptable that the Region has not resolved the problem of the closure of the Employment Centre”. The aspiring tricolor band Farinaro has no doubts about the heterogeneity of the civic coalition: “They are together for ulterior motives.”
