The CISL FP National General Secretary, Maurizio Petriccioli will be in Ancona on Tuesday 4 June on the occasion of the CISL FP Marche General Council which will be held, starting from 9.30 am, at the Seebay, in Portonovo di Ancona, via Poggio, 160. The renewal of national public employment contracts for the three-year period 2022/2024 and the financing of the national health system will be at the center of the debate.

«In an economic context marked by strong inflation, contract renewal for public workers represents a priority. Furthermore, the financing of the healthcare system, despite the nominal increase, is insufficient due to the “inflation shock” which has also hit healthcare in the Marche region hard. – points out Luca Talevi, CISL FP Marche regent – The government decree aimed at reducing waiting lists and passive mobility risks offering partial solutions without adequately addressing the staff shortage, compromising the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and the reorganization of local healthcare.»

The CISL FP Marche underlines the need for new hires, stabilization of temporary workers and better work organization to guarantee dignified working conditions for healthcare professionals, in particular nurses, social-healthcare workers and technicians. The growing demand for health services requires concrete responses to stem the phenomenon of “health tourism” towards other regions.

The meeting will also be an opportunity to launch the RSU 2025 electoral campaign, which will culminate with the renewal of union representation in all public workplaces. The CISL FP Marche, strong with the 36% of votes obtained in the last 2022 elections, will launch a series of assemblies to listen to workers and define together the platforms to meet the needs of the different professionals present in healthcare, in local and central functions.

«An appeal to the mayoral candidates in the next elections to place the valorization of staff at the center of their administrative action, recognizing the importance of an efficient and well-organized public sector for the well-being of the community. – he concludes TaleviIt is essential that the mayoral candidates of the 148 municipalities of the Marche involved in the elections of 8 and 9 June, the majority of which have under 15,000 inhabitants, put the development of staff and the achievement of an organic endowment capable of to guarantee quality of the services provided to citizens by avoiding outsourcing».
