This is the request of the ducal public prosecutor Paola Dal Monte for the two entrepreneurs of Cutrese origins residing in Cadé: they are accused of a complex series of tax crimes. They were arrested in October 2022
REGGIO EMILIA – Eight years of imprisonment each: this is the request of the Parma public prosecutor Paola Dal Monte towards the brothers Anthony And Marcello Vetere, 68 and 56 years old, entrepreneurs of Cutrese origins residing in Cadé. The sentence requested for the lawyer from Parma is six years and 10 months Antonio Di Michele. The three are are accused of criminal conspiracy aimed at committing tax crimes such as fraud, fraudulent bankruptcy, self-laundering, failure to declare tax. A trial that is celebrated in Parma.
The investigation concerns a sports facility of the ducal city which, according to the prosecutor’s office, was managed through a series of companies that turned out to be empty boxes registered in the name of frontmen in order to evade taxes for an amount of approximately 11 million. The investigation began in 2015, the structure has been under judicial seizure for 7 years and the trial started in 2023. The Vetere brothers, defended by lawyers Enrico Della Capanna And Oliviero Mazzawere arrested in October 2022. A total of 19 people were investigated in the operation, including 10 from Reggio Emilia, and 45 properties between Reggio Emilia and Parma and almost 5 million euros were seized.
