Ancona
Come back, from 21st to 23rd June the W! Festivalthe event dedicated to those who love bicycle and dreams of a more sustainable and inclusive world. This year, the event will be held in Suasa Castlein the evocative setting of his fantasy Roman amphitheater. Organized by the “Cicliste per caso” association, there are already several talks scheduled in the program: from Morena Tartagni, pioneer of women’s cycling in Italy, who will present her biography “I wanted to be a runner”, to Ilenia Zaccaro who will talk about her journey solo in South America, passing through Giulia Baroncini, who will talk about the 8 thousand km traveled in the saddle from Milan to Chicago in the footsteps of Luigi Masetti, the first Italian cycle traveller. This year’s super guest will be the activist and essayist Lorella Zanardo, who will screen her documentary “The Body of Women” on the evening of June 21st. There will also be a moment dedicated to Alfonsina Strada, the first (and only) woman to have participated in the men’s Giro d’Italia exactly one hundred years ago, in 1924.

Pesaro and Urbino
History, culture and entertainment: in Schieti, from 14 to 16 Junethe very ancient will be held “Palio of the stilts”. Why is it celebrated? Because the town, embraced by a bend of the Foglia, was the obligatory stop for a bit of refreshment in the taverns, before resuming the journey crossing the “Passo dei charcoal burners”. These used stilts to cross it like the farmers across the river, leaving the characteristic tool under the loggia of the predio of Cà Matteo. The stilts did not remain inert, but in the hot season for the children and the less young, they became an instrument of racing competition up to the center of the Castle, giving rise to a village festival called “Palio dei sampp” (Palio of the Stilts). The winner was rewarded with a cheese and a flask of wine. Nothing will be missing: exhibitions, cinema, shows, book presentations, music, concerts, good traditional cuisine, walks, old-fashioned games, motorbike meetings, kite workshops and much more.
Macerata
With so much joy and so much altruism, he returns with his fourth edition “Green Cross in celebration”to Corridonia, in the industrial area, in the “CRAZY” garrison. From the 20 to 23 Junethe program is vast: it starts on Thursday evening, with “Miss Blumare” and “Mister of the Year”, and then moved on to the Vasco Tribute Band “Repeat offenders” on Friday, followed by “Flow Party” by DJ Multiradio. On Saturday 22 June, however, you can attend the concert of Omar Codazzi with his band while, to conclude, on Sunday evening the comedy show of Piero Massimo Macchinthe.

Alice, sardine, little fish: there are many names with which this delicacy can be called, but only one is known throughout the province: Anghiò, which from 13th to 16th June get back to San Benedetto del Tronto. Anghiò, Blue Fish Festival, is an event designed with the aim of contributing to restoring dignity to a fish species present in large quantities in the Italian seas, in particular in San Benedetto del Tronto, one of the most famous Italian fishing ports in the world for fishing for blue fish. It is no coincidence that the name of the event derives from the dialectal noun with which the people of San Benedetto define alice. Term that becomes the official language in Spain (Anchoa) and England (Anchovy), therefore a dialect term, but also an international one. Anghiò will not only be a series of delicious dishes with blue fish, but a real dive into the history of Sambenedetto fishing.
