PESARO – Tragedy at sea, a man was found lifeless in the waters ahead Gilberto bathroomson Levante beach.
In the late afternoon of Friday 31 May, the lifeguard noticed the presence of the man who it was floating at about 20 metres from the rocks. So he raised the alarm, 118 arrived on site and could only confirm the death. Resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful.
The Pesaro Coast Guard intervened with its own patrol boat and a ground patrol following the report relating to the recovery carried out by the lifeguard.
The investigation activities by the Pesaro Coast Guard, under the coordination of the local Public Prosecutor’s Office for the identification of the body and the ascertainment of the causes of death, continued throughout the night.
The victim he is a man between the ages of 60 and 70. The man, in fact, was recovered from the water with him on just the costume and he had no other personal effects capable of identifying him. Not even the managers of the beach in front of which he was recovered yesterday afternoon know him.
It is not clear how long he had been in the water; he may have dived long before being found and been dragged by the current. It might have been him an illness is fatal.
