Brescia. On May 31st, on the occasion of the XXVII National Gathering of the ANVVF-CN, it was a roundabout named after the Fire Brigade, in via delle Scuole, in Brescia, near the command. Present were the Commander, the representative of the municipality of Brescia, Federico Manzoni, the president of the ANVVF-CN and the prefect.
A conference entitled “Our history, You our future” was held at the San Barnaba auditorium aimed at high schools to whom, after an introduction by the commander of the Fire Brigade of Brescia, Luigi Giudice, and the president of the ANVVF-CN Enrico Marchionne, the work of the firefighters was explained with a speech by Tolomeo Litterio and representatives of the various specialties and specializations of the National Corps.
On the afternoon of May 31st, a conference on the Mini Code of Fire Prevention was held in the great hall of the Tartaglia Olivieri Technical Institute. which was attended by many technicians in the sector. At the same time, in Piazza del Mercato, inside the security citadel, the initiative “Firehouse” despite the weather conditions not being too clement, it was a good success with the participation of many children and teenagers. The “mini firefighters” of the Brescia Fire Brigade carried out a small exercise which was a great success due to the skill of these kids and their instructors.
Also in the afternoon, the Head of the Corps, Carlo Dall’Oppio, visited the Command in via Scuole, greeted the staff, visited the Operations Room, and subsequently spoke with the Commander and the Regional Director, Fabrizio Piccinini.
