Fifteen Molfetta – Save me, Meetings in the shade of the pines of Via Don Minzoni in Molfetta
MOLFETTA – While the daily demonstrations of the many citizens gathered in the Committee in defense of the Green and the Molfetta territory continue and always awaiting a response from the Municipal Administration to the request for a meeting before the other pines on Via Don Minzoni continue to be eliminated , we want to invite all citizens to a presentation of a beautiful story whose protagonist is another large Pinus pinea from a city close to us.
Wednesday 29 May starting from 6pm, on via don Minzoni, the writer Alfredo De Giovanni will talk about his book “Tree Facts” a story for the theater freely based on a true story: the mobilization of an entire town to save a centuries-old pine tree (Pinus pinea) from premature felling. “…a story of love and profound symbiosis with nature, of tears and dreams, of rediscovery of the myth and of struggles to grow up, of timeless flights into that mysterious place which is the heart of the trees.” A book for girls and boys who want to grow with awareness and for adults who are looking for sustainable paths for a planet whose climate is changing rapidly. This will be followed by dialectical improvisations and fast-paced movements among the pines for fun and entertainment
