ROVIGO – On the “middle river” in the name of music and archaeology.On Friday 14 June Assonautica Acque Interne Veneto ed Emilia organized in collaboration with the Cur a day of navigation reserved for students of university courses activated in Rovigo by UniPd.
The outing saw the departure by boat from the river mooring in Rovigo with the first destination being Adria where the group was welcomed by the mayor Massimo Barbujani with visit to the National Archaeological Museum guided by Sandra Bedetti. Afterwards, stop at the nearby Amolara hostel with a second, short visit to the Septem Maria Museum and buffet before the second boarding, towards Loreo, with a concert on board the Baker’s Flavor Trio: upon arrival, the mayor Moreno welcomed the boat Gasparini with the group that went ashore to witness the Deltablues evening concert by Geno & his rockin’ dudes before returning by bus to the capital.
A partnership that is renewed for the second year and which on this occasion also presented new elements, considering that the children were offered the navigation experience, museum visits and a double quality musical moment: the initiative then strengthened the relationship with entities such as Cur and Deltablues, with which Assonautica Acque Interne has started an active collaboration for some time, but also represents a new opportunity to promote the territory and its riverways, one of the objectives the association has been working on for years with the precious support of the Chamber of Commerce of Venice-Rovigo.
“An important day for Assonautica Acque Interne – he comments Erasmo Bordin, member of the board -, because we paid attention to two of the excellences of our territory such as inland navigation, with the fluvial-maritime system, and Il Cur with the students of the Water and Geological Risk Engineering course. The valorisation of our peculiar resources is the main element for the cultural and economic growth of the territory”.
