Frigato: “The closed pool damages the animations”

Federico Frigato, mayoral candidate for Rovigo Si Ama, returns to the swimming pool case. “And so, as everyone suspected from the beginning – says Frigato – we will arrive at least in August without the summer swimming pool. In fact, the external pools were even excluded from the tender to entrust the management of the swimming centre. If not a surrender, there is little left. It is useless now to dwell on the responsibilities, however evident and serious, which led to such a disaster. Now it will be crucial to limit the damage for families, young people and all those who were waiting to be able to use a place dedicated to leisure, sport, gaming and socializing. An oasis for the summer in the city”.

The mayoral candidate of the Rovigo si Ama civic list continues: “We need to fill a gap made worse by the fact that the swimming center also offered a much-appreciated summer entertainment service. A further point of reference for families that is missing. Furthermore, the swimming center was also a support point for many other city activities, which relied on it. In the city, after all, there are no alternatives.” And again: “We launch a clear appeal: we ask that the Municipality takes action to activate agreements with other swimming centers and water parks, to reduce the cost of access by the ‘orphans’ of the swimming center, and that similar concessions be studied as far as concerns the journeys on public transport necessary to reach them”.
